Office Hours Back to top

Monday we usually schedule only hygiene (cleaning) patients, and our hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Tuesday - Friday we see patients from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., supposedly with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. More typically, the office might be closed for 15 - 30 minutes somewhere in there, or maybe not at all on a hectic day. (We occasionally reverse the Monday/Friday schedules.)

  • By phone at (360)385-3100. Dr. Chuljian carries his cell phone (360-531-1762) haphazardly, so he may not get voicemail promptly. If there's no answer on his cell, try his home phone, (360)385-6506 and leave a message there as well. Dave has been known to drop his phone in a river while fishing, run it through the washer (twice), lose it in a bag of crow food, forget to recharge it, lose it in his woods (twice), lose it out hiking (never did find it), and lose it out the door of his airplane (didn't hit anybody, at least it never made the news). So, don't count on him answering the cell phone, but it's worth a try, and he does check his voicemail when/if he finds the phone.

  • By email at dave@chuljiandds.com. This address gets so much spam that legitimate emails sent to this address may not get noticed. However, if the subject line of your email includes the phrase "dental question," I will usually get it. Usually. Maybe. A more reliable way is to use the form below, which will also give me your e-mail address.

If you would like to schedule an appointment:

  • If you are in pain, have broken a tooth or lost a crown or filling, or think you have an infection, let the front desk person know that you need an Emergency Appointment. We will work you into the schedule that same day in most cases.
  • If you are new to our practice and do not have an urgent problem, you should request a New Patient Routine Exam. This is usually a 40 minute appointment, and will include any needed X-rays, a periodontal examination, and photos if indicated, but it will not include the actual cleaning. If you have recently had X-rays taken, contact your prior dentist and ask them to forward the films to our office; they may ask you to fill out an X-ray release form, available online (see below).
  • If you have always had good dental health, get regular cleanings, and have no periodontal problems, you can probably schedule a new patient exam and cleaning at the same time. Try to schedule yourself as the last patient before lunch in case we run over a little. Also it will speed things up if you print and fill out the registration, health history, and "Hippo" forms (go to the Online Forms page). You should also read the Privacy Policy and Privacy Explanation, or at least skim through them and claim you read them.
